The Kwikflo KPPS250 250L Stormwater Pump Station is a pre-assembled, freestanding poly pump station supplied with an Aline Sabre AL750-1A 0.75kW 240V automatic drainage pump and a gastight 600mm x 600mm poly lid. It is the stormwater and drainage counterpart to our sewer KPPS250 package, fitted with a drainage pump instead of a cutter pump. Built for basement pump-away, granny flats, garbage rooms and small pump-away installations, it arrives with the internal valves and pipework already fitted so the site work is reduced to connecting the inlet and discharge.

The Stormwater Version of the KPPS250
The KPPS250 tank is the same unit used in our sewer pump station package. What changes is the pump inside it.
The sewer package carries an ALC750 high head cutter pump, built to shred solids in raw sewage. This stormwater package carries the AL750-1A drainage pump, an open multi-vane vortex design suited to greywater, stormwater and basement drainage where cutting is not required. If the duty is sewage with solids, the cutter version is the correct choice.
Pre-Assembled to Cut Site Time
The internal components are fitted before the station leaves the factory: ball valve, non-return valve, barrel unions and the PVC interconnecting pipework.
The inlet pipe penetration is not pre-drilled and is to be installed by the plumber to suit the incoming invert level on site. The discharge penetration sits below the tank opening.
The pump is boxed separately for transit and is easily mounted on site.
Compact Enough for a Retrofit
At 720mm outer diameter and 880mm deep, the station fits into tight spaces where a larger pit cannot go, which makes it a common choice for basement pump-away and retrofit work in existing buildings.
It is freestanding, so no concrete base or mounting kit is needed.
The AL750-1A Drainage Pump
The pump is a 0.75kW single phase submersible drainage pump with a cast iron body and cast iron impeller, running a ceramic-graphite and silicon carbide alloy mechanical seal.
The open multi-vane vortex impeller keeps a clear path through the pump, so soft solids up to 20mm pass rather than wrap and clog. It is rated to 5m submersible depth, liquid temperatures up to 40°C, and a maximum of 20 starts per hour.
Maximum flow is 380 LPM. The pump delivers 370 LPM at 3m head, 320 LPM at 6m, 270 LPM at 9m, 190 LPM at 12m and 50 LPM at 15m.

Installation Information
The station is freestanding and does not require a mounting kit or base. The pump is boxed separately for transit and mounted on site.
Important installation considerations include:
- The inlet penetration is not pre-drilled and must be cut by the plumber to suit the incoming invert.
- The discharge penetration is located below the tank opening.
- Pumps and floats must be accessible from the tank entry point. If confined space entry is needed, notify Aline prior to booking, as additional charges apply.
- It is recommended that the site be assessed by a qualified professional to identify and mitigate any risks related to hydrostatic pressure prior to installation.
- Electrical connection must be carried out by a licensed electrician.
- Do not exceed the pump's 5m submersible depth or 40°C liquid temperature.
- Set float levels so the pump does not exceed 20 starts per hour.
- Confirm the duty point against the pump performance curve for the head at your site.

Aline's pump specification table lists a maximum head of 13m while also quoting 50 LPM at 15m head, and the published performance curve shows a shut-off head of approximately 16m. Confirm the duty point against the current manufacturer's curve before ordering.
