How long does it take to heat the pool?
From cold, allow a couple of days for the first heat up. After that it maintains temperature, which
is where heat pumps are efficient. A pool blanket makes a big difference, because most heat loss is
off the surface overnight.
Does it work in winter?
Heat pumps draw warmth from ambient air, so output drops as air temperature drops. Across most of
Australia you will add months at both ends of the season. For true year round swimming in a cold
climate, ask us about sizing up.
Who installs it?
A licensed electrician for the electrical side, and a pool technician or plumber for the water
connection. We are happy to walk your installer through what is required.
