The Aline KCPS-1000 Oil Water Separator is a high-performance coalescing plate separator designed to remove free oil and suspended solids from wastewater before discharge to sewer. Using proven gravity separation technology and oleophilic polypropylene plate packs, it provides reliable pre-treatment for workshops, industrial facilities, wash bays and other applications where oily wastewater needs to be separated efficiently. Built with a heavy-duty UV-stabilised polyethylene tank, galvanised steel frame and quality UPVC pipework, the KCPS-1000 is made for long-term commercial use with minimal maintenance.

Highlights
- Removes oil and solids from wastewater before sewer discharge
- Coalescing plate technology separates even small oil droplets
- Heavy-duty 5mm UV stabilised polyethylene tank and lid
- Available with polyethylene or stainless steel tank construction
- Manual or automatic oil removal using compatible oil skimmers
- Easy maintenance with removable plate packs and quick-release fasteners
- Suitable for pumping-to-sewer, indoor, outdoor and explosion-proof installations
- Chemical resistant construction for demanding environments
Highly Efficient Oil & Solid Separation
The KCPS-1000 uses an advanced coalescing plate separator system that takes advantage of the difference in specific gravity between oil, water and solids. Wastewater is pumped into the inlet chamber where heavier solids settle to the sludge hopper while larger oil slugs immediately rise to the surface. The remaining flow then passes through closely spaced corrugated polypropylene plate packs where fine solids and small oil droplets are progressively separated before clean water exits the system.
Built for Commercial & Industrial Applications
Designed for demanding environments, the separator features a chemical-resistant, UV stabilised 5mm polyethylene tank and lid supported by a galvanised mild steel frame. Quality UPVC pipework throughout provides excellent corrosion resistance, making the KCPS-1000 suitable for workshops, service centres, industrial facilities and wastewater pre-treatment systems.
Simple Maintenance & Easy Access
Routine servicing is straightforward thanks to the removable lid and quick-release DZUS fasteners that provide easy access to the separator internals. Under normal operating conditions, maintenance mainly consists of cleaning the polypropylene plate packs with hot water. A dedicated sludge hopper drain and oil skimming arrangement also make waste removal simple.
Flexible Installation Options
The KCPS-1000 can be installed in a variety of configurations including pumping-to-sewer, indoor installations, outdoor installations and explosion-proof hazardous area applications. Typical installations include a diaphragm pump, oil collection container, discharge pit and float level switch depending on system requirements.
Important installation notes include:
- Installation should be bunded to contain the full separator volume and prevent rainwater entering the system.
- The separator and pit are classified as Class 1, Zone 2 hazardous areas.
- The hazardous area extends 500mm above the oil water separator.
- Float switches used with the system must be oil proof.
- Typical discharge pits require a minimum 500 litre working volume.
Designed for Reliable Wastewater Pre-Treatment
Every component is selected to deliver dependable performance in oily wastewater applications. The separator incorporates dedicated water, oil and sludge outlets together with an oleophilic polypropylene plate pack that continuously separates contaminants while maintaining consistent flow through the system.
